What is Regulation?

Regulation is a word commonly used to describe how a person manages their stress, energy and emotional responses throughout the day.

It involves many processes in the brain and body that allow us to change our energy levels and respond appropriately to any given situation faced in day to day life.

Whether this is winding our body and mind down for sleep, perking our energy and body up for running hard to first base or sitting down and switching attention on the teachers instructions.

Our ability to regulate ourselves, that is self regulate, is a vital skills required to develop and achieve our potential: reaching our goals, maintaining positive friendships, learning and feeling well.

If you want to support children to reach their potential, this introductory online course, called Reg 101, is for you.
